World Health Organization (WHO) Announces Vacancy for Coordinator, Mortality and Health Analysis
The Health Metrics and Measurement (HMM) Cluster is a newly established cluster that focuses on three of the six WHO core functions, including monitoring the health situation and assessing trends; shaping the research agenda and stimulating the generation, translation and dissemination of valuable knowledge; and setting norms and standards, and promoting their implementation.
The Department of Information, Evidence and Research (IER) is part of the Health Metrics and Measurement (HMM) Cluster and aims to strengthen the availability, accessibility, quality, reliability and use of health information and public health research among Member States and health development partners. This department currently has the vacancy for Coordinator, Mortality and Health Analysis.
The Coordinator Mortality and Health Analysis in the cluster of the HMM leads and coordinates WHO’s work related to global health data and statistics, with a focus on mortality and causes of death, including standards, analysis and reporting. The incumbent will work under the ADG/HMM and the direct supervision of the IER Director.
