The Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities Dr. Amr Ezzat Salam and the Executive Director of GHD|EMPHNET Dr. Mohannad Al Nsour, along with representatives from both parties, met on September 1, 2020, at GHD|EMPHNET headquarters in Amman, Jordan.
During the meeting, both parties explored potential areas for collaboration especially in areas of capacity building through public health-focused educational programs, training workshops, and academic activities. Discussions also focused on exploring collaboration in support of national efforts towards enhancing capacities of the public health workforce in countries across the Arab World.
As a non-governmental organization established in 1969, the Association of Arab Universities works to support universities in the Arab World and enhance cooperation among them.
