One Health Bangladesh, a multidisciplinary platform dealing with the health threats at the human-animal and environmental interface in Bangladesh, is going to organize a series of the webinar in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The set of the webinar will be organized in partnership with Global Health Development (GHD)
The COVID-19 pandemic is continuing to spread across the world and claim life. South Asian countries, including Bangladesh, are facing tremendous challenges to tackle health threats. During this amid crisis, access to the right information is crucial for preventing another pandemic of misinformation.
Join us for the second weekly series on Friday, May 8, 2020 at 9:00 AM (GMT+6) of interactive webinars on “What we know and don’t know about SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19”, understand the facts and make sense of the latest developments in the global crisis.
Prof Stephen Luby, a global leader on One Health concept and Profession of Medicine (Infectious Disease) from the University of Stanford and Dr. Jonathan Epstein, Vice President for Science and Outreach, EcoHealth Alliance, USA will discuss on the evolving scientific knowledge regarding SARS-CoV-2 and COVID -19, a gap of our knowledge and understanding and future focus to find better public health solution.
