Registration for EMPHNET’s Fourth Regional Conference is Now Open

The organizing committee of EMPHNET’s upcoming Fourth Regional Conference is happy to announce that registration is now open to all those interested in attending the event. To fill in your registration form, we kindly request that you go to the Registration Page We invite you to keep checking the website for updates, and we look forward to seeing you at the event, as this conference thrives on the information shared by its participants. Set to take place in Aqaba, Jordan between September 28th, and October 1st, 2015, the regional conference presents a great opportunity for field epidemiologists and public health professionals to exchange experience. It is an important platform for maximizing skills among field epidemiologists working to serve their countries. It brings the work of many Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) residents, graduates and public health professionals into the spotlight, which is often a valuable payback for the hard work and dedication of field epidemiologists in the region. This year, the theme of the conference is “Public Health in the Region: Challenges and Opportunities.” The conference will draw on several issues that are of common concern to the Eastern Mediterranean Region, while also pinning down those difficult and atypical situations that exclusively challenge some of its countries. The event will present different opportunities for the participants to learn and to share experiences, concerns, and recommendations. Its agenda will include pre-conference workshops, round-tables, as well as oral and poster presentations from the region.
