If you answered one or more of these questions with a yes, please read on, as EMPHNET is giving you the opportunity to do just that.  We are now happy to announce the launch of our “Voices from the Field” writing contest, where we invite you to write and to compete for prizes too. Who Can Join? The Voices from the Field Writing Contest is open only to FETP residents and graduates from the Eastern Mediterranean Region, where we invite you to write about  your experiences in the field in a  testimonial style. This is your chance to highlight your experience, as we at EMPHNET are proud of all what you have achieved. We want to highlight your contributions to the public health field and to make those achievements known. The Rules We are asking you to write a 1000-word entry. The entry should be your original work. In the case of plagiarism, the submission will be automatically disqualified. Each participant cannot submit more than one entry. All entries will be published on EMPHNET’s website and social media channels. Note Once entries are submitted, they are the sole property of EMPHNET. Therefore, EMPHNET reserves the right to publish all entries on its website and social media channels as it sees fit. Furthermore, EMPHNET reserves the right to do minor edits to typing, spelling, and grammar errors prior to publishing. What You Can Write About We accept entries that cover one or more of the following topics: 1) Lessons Learned in the Fields of Outbreak Investigation, Non-communicable Disease, communicable Disease, Surveillance, Rapid Response, or Data Collection. 2) Prevention of Non-communicable or Communicable Disease. 3) The Immerging Importance of Health Security. 4) Practical Experience in Rapid Response, Outbreak Investigation, Non-communicable Disease, Communicable Disease, Surveillance, or Data Collection. 5) Field Experience in Surveillance, Rapid Response, Outbreak Investigation, Non-communicable Disease, Communicable Disease, or Data Collection. 6) Challenges of Surveillance, Rapid Response, Outbreak Investigation, Non-communicable Disease, Communicable Disease, or Data Collection. 7) Other Public Health Topics.   How and When to Submit Your Entry Kindly send your entries by filling in this application form.
