Over the past decade, EMPHNET has worked with international, regional, and national public health stakeholders to support better health outcomes for populations in the Eastern Mediterranean Region and beyond. Strong, interdependent partnerships are essential to achieving EMPHNET’s mission of preventing and controlling diseases, conducting and supporting operational research, developing workforce capacity, and strengthening public health programs.

Over the past decade, EMPHNET has worked with international, regional, and national public health stakeholders to support better health outcomes for populations in the Eastern Mediterranean Region and beyond. Strong, interdependent partnerships are essential to achieving EMPHNET’s mission of preventing and controlling diseases, conducting and supporting operational research, developing workforce capacity, and strengthening public health programs.

 

EMPHNET works from within countries and communities to understand their realities and context, tailoring solutions to local needs and building on existing capacities. The organization strategically partners with governments, non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, associations and foundations, academic institutions and research centers, global networks, federal agencies, UN agencies, and private sector entities to strengthen public health systems across the region and globally.
