    Field Epidemiology Training Program for Veterinarian (FETPV) is a unique, two-year, skill-based program for veterinarians working under the Department of Livestock Services, Forest Department, Public Universities and Research Institutes. The Department of Livestock Services (DLS), Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) and Global Health Development (GHD) are jointly offering the FETPV program.

    The vision of FETPV is to provide quality field-based, applied epidemiological education and training for the development of skilled veterinary field workforce who will contribute to reduce health threats in animal population. The program will also provide One Health skills to work at human–animal and environment interface to promote health and reduce disease burden. The primary objective of the program is to enhance epidemiological capacity of the national veterinary services to prevent, detect and respond the infectious diseases at national, regional and community level.

    The program is intended for veterinarians working under the Department of Livestock Services, Forest Department, Public Universities and Research Institutes in Bangladesh. Deadline for applications is December 30, 2019.
