Training for Clinicians, Laboratory Technicians, and Veterinarians to Strengthen Collaboration Between Animal and Human Health Sectors
The objective of the training workshop is to train clinicians, pediatric and internal medicine specialists in Brucellosis case definition, diagnosis, and treatment. The workshop also aims to strengthen collaboration between human and animal health sectors in the detection, diagnosis, and reporting of Brucellosis cases. 25 participants will be in attendance. The topics covered include case definition of Brucellosis in both humans and animals; the Brucellosis investigation form; epidemiology of human and animal Brucellosis in Jordan; proper diagnosis and treatment of Brucellosis in both humans and animals; and the importance of inter-social collaborations between the animal and human health sectors.
