Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP). 

 

Opportunity

 

The project is about building the core competencies in field epidemiology. Thus, it covers issues like surveillance, outbreak investigation, communication skills, training of trainers (TOT), and field research.

 

The project’s objective is to build the capacity in core competencies of field epidemiology, and to support the health systems to detect, respond and prevent harmful public health events. The project also aims to build the capacity of the health workforce in training (TOT), to enhance the communication skills, and to support the operation research.

 

The project is an excellent opportunity for students to gain skills that would be beneficial for their future careers, such as analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs. The students would also be conducting operation research and writing communication work.

 

During this internship, the interns would be responsible for the following tasks: developing/ enhancing trainings materials, analyzing reports and raw data on training events, developing/ reviewing training tools and methods, and reviewing the literature.

 

Minimum Education Requirements:

 

This opportunity is open to graduate or undergraduate student of Public Health or any other medical or scientific field. We also accept applications from fresh graduates.
