Job Description

Content Developer

The Content Developer will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging digital learning content that supports GHD|EMPHNET and IAPH training and capacity-building initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and technical teams to ensure that materials are pedagogically sound, visually appealing, and accessible across platforms.

 

Scope of Work

The assigned “ Vacancy” will include the following tasks, activities, duties & responsibilities:

  1. Convert storyboards to interactive online materials using Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360, and other tools utilized by the organization.

  2. Design and redesign PowerPoint presentations.

  3. Develop engaging visual aids including animations, graphics, and videos.

  4. Participate in periodic progress meetings to discuss milestones and address concerns.

  5. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to enhance the quality of developed materials.

  6. Review and address comments received from technical experts.

  7. Upload and maintain organized records of course development, including version tracking for documentation purposes.

 

Job Specification

 

Education and Specialization:

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

 

Experience: 

  • Minimum years of experience: 5 years
  • Experience field: eLearning Content Development
  • Other related experience:
      • Proven expertise with Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, and multimedia design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
      • Prior experience developing interactive online courses, training materials, or digital learning resources.
      • Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is an asset.

 

Functional Competencies Required

  1. Strong technical skills in eLearning authoring tools and LMS platforms.

  2. Excellent visual design and multimedia production skills.

  3. Ability to transform complex concepts into clear, engaging learning content.

  4. Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.

  5. Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards and accessibility guidelines.
