Job Description

The Technical Officer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and monitoring public health projects in Pakistan under EMPHNET. This role demands developing strategic action plans, ensuring effective stakeholder coordination, providing technical expertise, and promoting organizational interests at various national and regional forums. The Technical Officer’s contributions are integral to the success and sustainability of all public health initiatives.

Scope of Work

Tasks, activities, duties, and responsibilities include:

1. Develop and execute action plans related to assigned tasks and activities.
2. Organize and implement project activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders under the guidance of country Manager
3. Offer guidance and solutions for project risks, challenges, and problems, and communicate mitigation measures
4. Identify opportunities for new projects and partnerships, presenting them to Country office manager and GHD|EMPHNET HQ management
5. Prepare technical documents, such as presentations, proposals, and concept notes and any other assignment by the Country Manager
6. Represent GHD|EMPHNET at technical meetings, forums, and workshops as requested by Country Manager
7. Deliver technical assistance and consultation for the development, expansion, and improvement of projects and strategies
8. Assist in the implementation of public health projects, including training and research initiatives
9. Maintain regular, effective communication with partners and key stakeholders
   

Job Specification

• Education and Specialization: 
  • • MBBS
    • Master of Science in Public Health
    • FETP Advance Course (Preferred)
• Minimum Years of Experience Required: Ten years. 
• Experience Field: Public Health.
• Other Related Experience: Proposal writing, donor coordination, and technical documents writing.
