Dr. Magid Asad
Jordan FETP Director

From 2003- 2015 he was the Head of the Mortality and Morbidity Coding Department of the Information and Research Directorate, and the Focal Point for Maternal and Child Mortality to the WHO. In 2015, Dr. As’ad was appointed as the Head of National Morbidity and Mortality Registries, Non-Communicable Disease Directorate. He was also appointed as the Director of the Non-communicable Disease Directorate in 2017. Soon after in 2019, Dr. As’ad became the Head of Community Medicine Specialty and a member of the Jordanian Medical Council. In 2020 he was appointed to be the Director of the Health Occupation Directorate. He is currently the Head of Community Medicine Specialty and the Jordan FETP Director. Dr. As’ad has published multiple scientific papers in reputable journals.
